Every Day Was Special: A Fly Fisher's Lifelong Passion

Every Day Was Special: A Fly Fisher's Lifelong Passion - William G. Tapply William Tapply passed away in 2009, which is why it kills me to offer up a poor review of what I believe is his last fly fishing work.Tapply's a good writer, but this work falls flat; descriptive but lacking insight or any semblance of an "ah-ha" moment that fires the imagination.Tapply takes us along on a lifetime's worth of fishing adventures, but never goes much beyond a relatively dry description of the trips.Tapply's earlier books are better, though this work is simply not in the same league as fly fishing's bigger fish (Gierach, Leeson, etc).
