To Reign in Hell: A Novel
To Reign in Hell is a re-casting of the story of Satan being cast down from heaven, and in this telling, Satan is the more sympathetic character. It's an interesting idea, but it's marred by mundane characters and plodding pace. Strip away the interesting pretense and this becomes a fantasy book without enough life to sustain it, much less trigger a recommendation.
